- One white marking at the front base of her dorsal fin
- Several white freckles on her underbelly, base of pectorals and flukes
- Rake marks along her peduncle and underbelly.
Family
Little is known about Narnia's family, through observational studies by scientists there are 3 possible pods in which Narnia could be from. The pods in this part of Scotland are known to travel in small groups, between 4-7 individuals.
Secondary Reinforcers
- balls and toys
- frozen fruit, ice blocks
- Salmon and squid
- rub down
- bridge (hand signals as well as whistles)
Finds Aversive
- long periods of separation from orcas
- sudden and loud noises
- being ignored
- food deprivation
- medical exams
- being housed with aggressive orcas
- confrontations with orcas//humans
Behavioural Tenancies
- Narnia is often seen following the other females she is housed with, she is submissive to females and is low-ranking
- She can be dominant to males but remains low-ranking
- She will often take herself away from other orcas but doesn't like to be separated for too long.
- She is often seen chasing and spraying birds that wander into the pool complex
- She has been known to get bored and chew on the metal bars of gates
- She can lose concentration during training sessions
Behavioural Incidents
- accidental knock down of a trainer. During a training session, Narnia misjudged the distance on the slide out platform and knocked over the trainer. No serious harm was done, the trainer had a very bruisers that healed quickly.
No other incidents are known involving Narnia.

Summary
Narnia is a wild-caught orca who was rescued off the N.west coast of Scotland, UK. She was found emaciated and starving, she was brought to a sea pen for rehabilitation to be released back into the wild. The sea pen was only temporary and was only allowed to be there for one year. Once the year was up Narnia was moved to 'Sea Parque' where her final stages of rehabilitation would occur. However she was put on show and due to the loud noises of the stadium has suffered hearing damage. She can no longer use ecolocation effectively and she will now remain in captivity. From 1997-2003 she was housed here, but due to the aggressive tendencies of the male orcas towards her, she was put in a pool with 2 other females. As the park could not breed her with their males, they decided it would be best to move her to a new facility. Due to being found on her own, Narnia now suffers with separation anxiety and does not like being left on her own for long periods of time, she will become very vocal and thrash herself around when this happens. Saying that, she will take herself away from the other orcas, a few times a day to be on her own. She will entertain herself with chasing birds or stones found at the bottom of the pool.
Narnia is coming up to sexual maturity, and as she is a wild caught orca, she in theory can breed with most (if not all) captive male orcas. However being caught at 3 years of age, it is unlikely she has learnt enough to take care of her own calf, so before she is allowed to breed she will be put in pools with pregnant females and mothers with offspring to help her learn to care for her own young one day.
Narnia has been very responsive during training sessions and shows, but she can lose concentration and will go of to find something more fun to do if she no longer wants to participate.
She is usually only in shows for short periods due to her limited attention span, but does perform well, she will do anything for fresh salmon or squid, two of her favourite foods.
Trainers use both the whistle and hand gestures for commands due to her hearing impediment. Dry work is mainly done with Narnia and she is quite responsive. Little water work is carried out as she doesn't seem to respond well to the trainers in the water with her.
As more people started to attend Ocean Bay, information on how the Aquarium obtained Narnia started to emerge. Over time activists began to petition and protest her release back into the wild. After 2 years and many court dates, it was ruled that Narnia be taken back to her home waters in Scotland, placed into a sea pen and rehabilitated until she is able to go back into the wild.
As Narnia had been in a sea pen before when she was younger, she adjusted very well and the rehabilitation was very successful.
Over the years spent in the sea pen, Narnia's hearing improved and she was able to re-use her ecolocation to locate and catch prey.
While in the sea pen, several pods traveled past Narnia and there was some communication between them but it is unsure whether any of the passing pods were from Narnia's family.
In 2016, another female orca by the name of Noah was brought to the sea pens. Narnia and Noah bonded very closely and soon became inseparable.  Narnia took the younger whale under her fin and in turn they both helped each other with catching food and giving the all important socialisation they both needed.
Finally at the age of 25, the nets of the sea pen were lowered, and Narnia was allowed back out into the ocean. There was many attempts at finding her family pod, but there was no luck in rejoining them. Instead it was hoped that Narnia and Noah would create their own pod.  Both Narnia and Noah was radio-tagged so their movements could be tracked for research and if needs be, allow humans to assist them for medical reasons.

Ah so she's got a happy ending to what would be a miserably life. Who knows, she might meet Kai as my pod doesn't stick around in just one place.
